GYBE is our #ClientOfTheMonth throughout September and we have talked about GYBE and a number of features unique to its Rescue Tents. Today we want to show you how those features all tie together to make an extremely durable, portable, water and fire resistant shelter that is easily set up and perfect for any situation.
First and foremost, GYBE Humanity Tents are portable and fit easily into a backpack. This makes moving your shelter effortless and hassle-free. However, that doesn’t mean that you’re compromising when it comes to size and durability.. The Rescue Tent comes in two sizes, the larger of which is more than 13 feet tall and creates 270 square feet of floor space. These tents are made for emergencies. GYBE’s products, and its name, are all inspired by racing sailboats. The materials that make up the Rescue Tent were first used as the primary materials in the sails of the boats. They are perfect for creating shelters from harsh elements; a place to plan, coordinate, recover, launch, and triage.
The Rescue Tent is also simple to set up and can be swiftly inflated by hand pump but can also be inflated in under two minutes using a high-pressure air tank. GYBE’s One-Pump-System allows responders to rapidly inflate their shelter using a single inflation point. The One-Pump-System eliminates the struggle of inflating the tent by evenly filling all three chambers of the shelter with air at the same time. This design allows the tents to inflate quickly and easily so that the focus can stay on the situation at hand rather than setting up shelter. And when the time comes, the tent can easily be deflated, packed into its backpack, and stored away for its next mission.
The Rescue Tent has four sides the can be customized to fit the needs of any situation. Options include solid panels, mesh screens, and entry doors. All use the same zipper system which makes installation simple. That same zipper system can be used to connect multiple tents together using the Fusion Panel. The Fusion Panel is an extension that allows teams to link two GYBE tents. The Fusion Panel can be added through the zippers at the openings of the tent. Many tents can be linked together to allow first responders, medical personnel, etc. to create base camps and large shelters in the event of an emergency. You can even connect tents of different sizes.
